On February 7, the Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration announced a plan that aligns with the directives of the Shanghai 2025 Business Environment Optimization Conference and the associated action plans. The initiative aims to deploy 10,000 new 5G-Advanced (5G-A) base stations across Shanghai this year, with the ambition of increasing Shanghai's 5G network traffic share to over 70% and sustaining the city's leading position in terms of 5G base station density nationwide.
