The General Offices of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Guangdong Provincial Government have unveiled the "Guangdong Modern Industrial System Action Plan for 2025." This plan aims to expedite the construction and ramp-up of production capacity for pivotal projects including China Resources Microelectronics, Founder Microelectronics, Guangdong Chip, and Zengxin. Furthermore, it seeks to address the shortcomings in integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing, as well as advanced packaging and testing. The initiative also emphasizes the vigorous development of materials and equipment industries, and the establishment of an optical chip industry innovation platform. The ultimate objective is to forge a new national IC industry hub, designated as the "third pole."
