The three major US stock indexes snapped a four-day winning streak, closing in the red. Among prominent tech stocks, NVIDIA saw a notable decline of 3.12%, while Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon recorded modest losses of 0.39%, 0.59%, and 0.24%, respectively. Conversely, Google C and Meta registered gains of 1.16% and 1.73%, respectively. Tesla also slipped by 1.41%. Chinese stocks listed on Nasdaq fared well, with the Golden Dragon China Index surging 3.72%. Standouts included Kingsoft Cloud, which soared 13.10%, and iQIYI, which rose 11.50%. Additionally, Pinduoduo, TAL Education, JD.com, Tencent Music, and Baidu all witnessed increases of over 4%. NIO, Alibaba, XPeng Motors, and Li Auto also recorded gains, with only New Oriental experiencing a minor dip of 0.06%.
