On January 25, Microsemi highlighted during an institutional research session that the era of the Internet of Everything and intelligent sensing necessitates a seamless bridge between the physical and digital realms. Despite the ever-evolving technological landscape, the perception of the real world remains paramount. The interconnectivity between humans, devices, and the natural world hinges on fundamental elements such as sound, heat, light, electricity, magnetism, and motion. As application scenarios diversify, MEMS chips, crafted through advanced semiconductor processes, are progressively infiltrating and supplanting traditional sensor components due to their miniaturization, cost-effectiveness, low power consumption, and high integration capabilities. While the MEMS chip industry is still in its nascent stages compared to the mature IC chip industry, it is exhibiting promising growth potential.
