Despite being branded as a new generation, the Blackwell architecture does not introduce significant innovations over the Ada Lovelace (RTX 40 series), instead representing a modest enhancement. Notably, the L1 cache remains unchanged, whereas the L2 cache has undergone a notable increase. Consequently, the Blackwell architecture's approach to cache upgrades is relatively conservative.
