According to the latest report from Jon Peddie Research, global shipments of GPUs (encompassing both integrated and discrete graphics cards) are anticipated to exceed 251 million units by 2024, marking a 6% year-over-year increase. In contrast, IDC statistics indicate that global PC shipments during the same period rose by a modest 1% to approximately 262.7 million units. This significant growth momentum in GPU shipments underscores a trend that vastly outpaces the expansion rate of the PC market.
