DDR is in extremely short supply because HBM is consuming a large share of production capacity, and the upward price trend is expected to remain unchanged for at least the next three years. Recent quotes have already been raised by 30% and accepted by customers. Flash is relatively weaker, and capacity expansion is easier (SanDisk, Kioxia, YMTC). Insufficient HBM supply has weakened demand, and consumer-grade Flash prices have already fallen. HDD remains stable to strong. Seagate and Western Digital insist on not expanding production to avoid the risk of oversupply, but rigid demand for cold/warm data storage is keeping prices firm with steady increases.
