Oct 30 - The cost of insuring against a default on Intel (INTC.O) debt soared to a record high on Friday. This followed the company's warning that it would see a net cash outflow this year due to weakness in the PC market. Markit data showed that Intel's five-year credit default swap (CDS) spread widened by 17.5 basis points to a record 124.75 basis points, putting it on track for its largest one-day increase since October 2022.
