In the third quarter of 2026, UMC posted revenue of NT$74.24 billion, marking a year-on-year growth of 25.6% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 8.0%. However, this figure fell short of the market's anticipated NT$75.07 billion. The company's net profit for the quarter stood at NT$16.43 billion, a 9.7% rise from the previous year, yet it too did not meet the projected NT$17.16 billion. Furthermore, earnings per share amounted to NT$1.32, missing the expected NT$1.36.
