Zhongqi Wuliang and Bank of Shanghai have officially entered into a strategic cooperation agreement at the Bank of Shanghai Financial Building. Following the signing ceremony, both parties engaged in a thorough discussion regarding the advancements in quantum computing technology, the company's R&D endeavors, and the potential for financial applications. The collaboration aims to undertake joint research and application validation in key areas such as asset portfolio optimization, derivatives pricing, risk assessment, and fraud prevention. This initiative is set to foster the seamless integration of quantum computing with financial business requirements, thereby bolstering Shanghai's status as an international financial hub and a technology innovation center (Note: Hereafter referred to as 'technology innovation hub' to maintain consistency with financial jargon; the original Chinese term 'Technology Innovation Center' is provided for reference). Drawing on the systems engineering expertise of the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, as well as the robust supply chain in the Yangtze River Delta region, Zhongqi Wuliang is making significant strides in the engineering of neutral-atom quantum computers, with the 'Qinghe No.1' conceptual machine having been publicly unveiled.
