On October 15, according to Counterpoint Research's memory market tracking and forecasts, YMTC is projected to achieve the third-highest NAND (flash memory) shipment volume globally by the second quarter of 2026. It will rank only behind Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, outpacing Kioxia and Micron. If shipments from SK Hynix's subsidiary, Solidigm, are excluded from the calculation, YMTC's ranking would climb to the second position. Over the four-quarter period spanning from Q1 2025 to Q1 2026, YMTC's share of global NAND revenue is expected to surge by over 50%, increasing from 9% to 14%. Moreover, its year-on-year revenue growth could reach an impressive 478%.
