Synopsys has reached a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon worth over $1 billion, with both parties expanding their cooperation in the custom chip sector. Amazon will utilize Synopsys' chip IP, EDA, and AI engineering technologies for the development of AWS's in-house chips and infrastructure.
