On September 28, VSMC, a collaborative venture between World Advanced and NXP, celebrated the grand opening of its inaugural 12-inch wafer fabrication plant in Singapore. Fang Lue, the Chairman of World Advanced, had earlier announced that the entire initial production capacity of VSMC has already been secured by customers.
