From September 18 to 20, 2026, the 5th National Youth Forum on Semiconductor Physics unfolded at the Weishi International Cultural Exchange Center in Beijing. This forum zeroed in on four pivotal domains: optoelectronic semiconductor physics, low-dimensional semiconductor physics, semiconductor devices and integrated circuits, as well as quantum and intelligent semiconductors. Through a series of engaging formats including keynote speeches, specially invited reports, poster presentations, and interactive exchanges, the forum delved deep into the cutting-edge issues and the latest research achievements in novel semiconductor materials, emerging physics phenomena, innovative devices, and their associated interdisciplinary fields. Throughout the forum, there was one keynote address, 35 special reports, and in excess of 70 poster displays, drawing an audience of over 300 experts, scholars, young educators, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students hailing from universities, research institutions, and the industry across the nation.
