Stick has revealed that its board of directors has given the green light to a proposal for investing in an expansion project focused on high-end functional BOPET base film. This project, which aims for an annual production capacity of 103,000 tons, will be carried out through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Xingyuantai New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The total investment for the project is estimated at 1.652 billion yuan, with the funds coming from the company's own reserves and self-raised capital. The construction site for this ambitious project is situated in Sihong, Jiangsu province. Upon completion, the project will be capable of mass-producing a diverse range of high-end functional BOPET base film products, such as MLCC release film base film and polarizer protective film base film. These specialized products find their primary applications in various high-tech fields, including microelectronics MLCC manufacturing, special optical devices, precision PCB circuits, smart terminal protection, automotive and building energy-saving window films, as well as industrial precision protection.
