On September 21st, reports emerged that construction kicked off on Monday for a cutting-edge advanced packaging industrial park in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (China). TSMC is set to develop technology verification and talent training facilities within this new site. The Deputy Mayor of Kaohsiung revealed that TSMC will erect two key structures in the Baipu Industrial Park: a technology verification laboratory and a talent training center. These facilities are anticipated to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2029. Spanning a total area of roughly 88.7 hectares, Baipu Park allocates approximately 53.6 hectares specifically for industrial purposes.
