At the 2026 World Manufacturing Convention, which took place in Hefei, ChangXin Technology made a significant announcement. The company revealed that its fifth-generation DRAM technology platform, known as the G5 platform, has successfully entered mass production. Building on this achievement, ChangXin showcased high-capacity LPDDR5X products developed on the G5 platform. Moreover, it gave the public its first-ever glimpse of mass-produced LPDDR6 memory. The pivotal advancement of the G5 platform centers on process miniaturization. By employing quadruple exposure technology, it has managed to shrink the half-pitch of the memory array's active region to a mere 11.95 nanometers. This accomplishment brings it tantalizingly close to the process standards of the world's leading memory mass production platforms.
