With the support of the deepin-ports Special Interest Group (SIG), the deepin 25 operating system has been successfully tailored to Phytium Technology's cutting-edge RISC-V chip, the SpacemiT K3. This innovative chip features a tri-domain collaborative architecture that seamlessly integrates robust general-purpose computing capabilities with AI processing power. To ensure optimal adaptation, deepin 25 has enhanced its underlying toolchain, incorporated the Next repository, and established a local AI pipeline. These enhancements enable the system to efficiently allocate AI tasks to the K3's dedicated AI core for processing. This marks the first instance where a desktop system on the RISC-V platform has achieved ready-to-use offline inference capabilities for large models. Presently, an adapted experience image has been officially made available.
