MediaTek has officially launched the Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship chipset, featuring significantly enhanced imaging performance. By deeply integrating the ISP and NPU, the chipset establishes the Dimensity Intelligent Imaging Architecture, enabling mirrorless-level pan-focus computational optical imaging capabilities, allowing users to generate complex post-production effects with a single click. In terms of motion tracking, the chipset supports 60FPS professional sports-grade tracking, with tracking and focusing speeds doubled compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 9500, while also supporting mirrorless-level 100dB ultra-high dynamic range imaging. For video recording, the Dimensity 9600 Pro supports direct output of CSISP 4K 60fps cinematic-quality video, as well as the world's first 4K 120fps cinematic-quality Log raw video and native 4K 240fps ultra-high-speed slow-motion recording. Additionally, the chipset introduces multi-camera asynchronous parallel processing technology, enabling simultaneous activation of multiple lenses with smooth switching and natural color transitions. In terms of display technology, it supports multi-frame OverDrive panel response compensation, reducing motion blur by 30% compared to single-frame OD, and supports full-link BT.2020, offering 38% richer visible color range compared to DCI-P3. Furthermore, the chipset supports H.266 hardware decoding, reducing power consumption by 23% compared to VVC software decoding.
