Guotai Haitong Private Equity Investment has announced that the Shanghai M&A Private Equity Investment Fund Phase III Partnership (hereinafter referred to as the “Shanghai M&A Fund Phase III”) has successfully completed its registration with the Asset Management Association of China and has officially commenced investment activities. The fund, which initially has a size of RMB 900 million, is managed by a subsidiary of Guotai Haitong Private Equity and was jointly established in collaboration with major industrial conglomerates, listed companies, and financial institutions. The fund will primarily focus on merger and acquisition opportunities and equity investments in sectors that are supported by national policies, including high-end manufacturing, integrated circuits, new materials, new energy, and information technology.
