The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the National Development and Reform Commission, has jointly unveiled the "15th Five-Year Plan" for the Advancement of the Electronic Information Manufacturing Sector. This strategic blueprint advocates for the elevation of electronic components and materials to a high-end level, while fostering closer industrial synergy between the two sectors. Concentrating on pivotal domains, the plan endeavors to address the fundamental industrial "off-the-shelf" products, bolster the transformation of electronic components towards high-frequency and high-speed realms, spur technological innovations in electronic materials, and elevate the consistency and reliability of product quality. Concurrently, it emphasizes the establishment of docking platforms (assuming "dock" here refers to a specific platform name; if an official English translation exists, it should be used) around crucial manufacturing industry chains, the support for the development of pilot platforms and application verification centers, the utilization of international trading hubs to cultivate electronic distribution industries, and the reinforcement of the supply chain's resilience against risks.
