Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the National Development and Reform Commission, has jointly issued the “15th Five-Year Plan” for the Development of the Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry. This plan explicitly outlines that by 2030, China's electronic information manufacturing sector is set to achieve high-quality development, thereby substantially elevating its global standing within the industry. The significance of this industry within the broader industrial landscape will become even more pronounced, with revenues of enterprises above a certain designated size projected to surpass RMB 30 trillion. Concurrently, a range of competitive technologies and products are expected to emerge in areas such as integrated circuits, advanced computing, and consumer electronics. Furthermore, the industry's innovation efficiency is anticipated to witness a marked improvement, with R&D investment intensity set to reach 3.5%, computing power supply capabilities significantly enhanced, and the penetration rate of next-generation smart terminal applications substantially increased.
