There has been a sustained upward trajectory in the market prices of electronic fabrics. Specifically, in September, notable price escalations were observed for G75 electronic yarns and 7628 electronic fabrics, with certain premium-grade electronic yarns witnessing even steeper increases. These price surges are predominantly attributed to the escalating demand driven by advancements in AI technology. However, the corresponding increase in effective supply has not kept pace promptly. Notably, the layer count of PCBs in high-end AI servers has surged, resulting in a per-unit consumption of electronic fabrics that is 3 to 5 times greater than that of traditional servers. Consequently, manufacturers are strategically focusing their resources on high-value-added products, thereby constricting the supply of standard electronic fabrics.
