On September 14, a research report from CITIC Construction Investment Securities highlighted that, upon reviewing the stock price fluctuations and fundamental trends of overseas AIDC power supply companies since 2023, it becomes evident that the primary drivers of these fundamentals are NVIDIA's chip advancements and upgrades in power supply architectures. During the previous AIDC power supply cycle, the introduction of Blackwell chips in complete server rack configurations, such as the NVL72, substantially boosted the value of power supplies. This surge led to a concentrated release of related companies' performance in 2025, extending into 2026. Presently, NVIDIA's next-generation Rubin chip has reached the mass production ramp-up phase. Judging by indicators such as capital expenditures, inventory levels, and order volumes from both NVIDIA and power supply companies, the industry chain is fully prepared to embrace this new chip, heralding an even greater level of prosperity. The heightened production of Vera Rubin chips will spur the manufacturing of new products, including high-power PSUs and HVDC Sidecars, thereby further elevating the value of power supplies. A new cycle in the AIDC power supply sector is anticipated to commence in 2027, with associated companies poised to expand their market presence and achieve performance growth.
