Qualcomm has just launched two cutting-edge processors: the Yuelong Q-2390, tailored for consumer IoT devices, and the IQ-2390, designed specifically for industrial edge computing environments. Both processors boast a quad-core Kryo CPU, an Adreno 704 GPU, and incorporate a real-time RISC-V microcontroller. They offer robust support for a variety of operating systems, including Linux, Android, and Zephyr OS.

The Q-2390 processor stands out for its integration of multiple functions, making it an excellent fit for consumer and commercial edge devices, such as POS terminals. In contrast, the IQ-2390 processor elevates machine vision acceleration capabilities, boasts a broader operating temperature range, and exhibits enhanced resistance to vibration and impact. These features render it an ideal choice for industrial automation and a range of other sectors.

These two processors are set to be showcased at IFA 2026. Moreover, Qualcomm has already embarked on collaborative efforts with early customers, with evaluation kits anticipated to hit the market in early 2027.
