Xinshang Weizhuang has recently made an announcement stating that its self-developed 350nm step-and-repeat projection photolithography machine, the AST6200, has successfully undergone full-process craftsmanship (process) verification by a prominent domestic customer in the compound semiconductor industry and has subsequently secured substantial repeat purchase orders. The journey from the delivery of the first unit in November 2025 to the attainment of these bulk orders in August 2026 spanned a mere nine months. Notably, the critical components and software control system of this machine are entirely independently developed and controllable, representing a significant leap forward for domestically manufactured photolithography machines in the specialized equipment market for compound semiconductors.
