Following Nvidia's earnings outlook, the artificial intelligence trading frenzy cooled, and investors adopted a cautious stance ahead of the Jackson Hole Symposium. Today, South Korea's KOSPI index slipped 0.8%, accumulating a 1% decline for the week. Among heavyweight stocks, chipmakers Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix fell 2.2% and 1.8%, respectively, while battery manufacturer LG Energy Solution declined by 0.8%. Conversely, Hyundai Motor and Kia rose by 0.2% and 0.6%, respectively. Year-to-date, the KOSPI index has accumulated gains of over 62%.
