At the global new product launch event, Zhang Qiuming, CEO of Nexperia China, shared that the company’s R&D operations have fully resumed. The cycle for new product iterations has been streamlined to just 6 to 12 months, with over 10,000 models either already finalized or currently in the development pipeline. Mass production ramp-up times have also seen a significant reduction, dropping from the previous 12 to 16 weeks down to a swift 4 to 6 weeks, effectively doubling delivery efficiency. The supply chain is well-stocked, and notably, the output per 12-inch wafer now stands at 2.2 to 4 times that of 6-inch and 8-inch wafers, substantially boosting cost competitiveness.
