Chinese memory chip giant, ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT), has made remarkable strides in the realm of DDR5 memory chips, boasting a yield rate of 90% for its DDR5 memory chips produced through a 17nm-class process. This significant achievement has substantially bolstered CXMT's ability to undertake large-scale mass production and distribution, thereby aiding in further closing the gap with international powerhouses such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron.

CXMT has successfully achieved full-scale mass production across a range of products, including DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR4X, LPDDR5/5X, and more. Additionally, the company has established three 12-inch wafer fabrication facilities in Hefei and Beijing, boasting a monthly production capacity of 300,000 wafers, with aspirations to ramp this up to 400,000 wafers by 2026. The attainment of a 90% yield rate for its 17nm process DDR5 memory chips represents a groundbreaking "from-0-to-1" accomplishment for the Chinese mainland in the DRAM sector, holding the promise of steadily increasing market share.
