On August 6th, Beijing time, the pre-market trends of large-cap tech stocks in the U.S. stock market exhibited a mixed pattern. As of the time of reporting, SanDisk experienced a significant decline of nearly 10%, with Intel also dropping over 1%. Microsoft, Google, and Tesla followed suit, with declines of 0.65%, 0.58%, and 0.05%, respectively. Conversely, Nvidia saw an increase of over 1%, while Apple, Amazon, and Meta posted gains of 0.95%, 0.64%, and 0.34%, respectively. The previous trading day, the three major U.S. stock indices also displayed mixed performance, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising by 0.49%, the Nasdaq Composite Index falling by 0.83%, and the S&P 500 Index experiencing a slight decline of 0.17%. Within the S&P 500 Index, six out of the eleven major sectors showed gains, while five sectors experienced losses. The materials and healthcare sectors led the upward trend, whereas the communication services and energy sectors faced the most significant declines. Among individual stocks, Nvidia continued its upward trajectory for five consecutive trading days, with its market capitalization nearing $5.8 trillion.
