According to Samsung Electronics' forecast on July 30, the supply-demand gap for memory chips is expected to widen by 2027. Hyperscale cloud service providers are increasing their investments in AI infrastructure, driving growth in demand for servers, solid-state drives (SSDs), and high-bandwidth memory (HBM). Samsung Electronics has already signed contracts with five major global data center clients, and negotiations with five other large AI-related clients are in their final stages.
