Recently, Hardware Tea Talk, a well-known hardware blogger, unveiled that the prices of the RTX 50 series graphics cards have undergone notable increases across domestic sales channels, particularly for high-end models. The initial channel price for the RTX 5080 has soared to 12,000 yuan, representing a substantial 44.6% surge from the 8,299 yuan reference price of the public version. Similarly, the channel price for the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB has climbed to 5,500 yuan, significantly inflating the overall cost of mid-range PC assemblies. This price escalation is mainly attributed to a sharp rise in demand for AI computing capabilities, which has put a strain on the production capacity of consumer-grade graphics cards, coupled with a considerable uptick in memory costs.
