On the evening of July 29, Yangtze Memory Technologies Co., Ltd. (YMTC) issued a statement denying false information circulating online, which claimed that all 19 claims of its core 3D NAND patents were invalid and that related concept stocks had plummeted across the board, stating that such claims were severely misleading or inconsistent with the facts. The statement pointed out that since November 2023, YMTC has filed infringement lawsuits in the United States against Micron Technology involving 27 patents and 295 claims, with the cases still under adjudication. YMTC emphasized that the company adheres to independent innovation, compliant operations, and values intellectual property protection, demanding that relevant accounts and platforms cease inaccurate reporting and malicious dissemination, and reserves the right to pursue legal responsibility.
