At the AMD Advancing AI conference, which took place in San Francisco, USA, from July 22 to 23, 2026, AMD's Chairman and CEO, Lisa Su, revealed a suite of cutting-edge AI products. Among these innovations is the most potent AI chip to date: the Instinct MI455X GPU. This powerhouse is packed with a staggering 320 billion transistors and is complemented by 432GB of HBM4 memory. Additionally, Lisa Su introduced the 'most powerful agent CPU,' the EPYC Venice, which is crafted using a 2nm process, delivering an impressive 512 threads and 256 cores per socket. The event also witnessed the debut of the world's first 2nm AI-optimized full-rack solution, dubbed 'Helios,' which stands as the 'most powerful rack-level AI infrastructure.' Helios offers a remarkable 4,600 Zen 6 cores and delivers 1.2 EFLOPS of AI computing power per rack. Moreover, a Ryzen chip, tailored specifically for robots, was unveiled. This chip is capable of executing visual language models through its integrated GPU, enabling physical AI applications in robotics.
