By the close of the second quarter in 2026, technology stocks emerged as the frontrunners among the most heavily-held stocks by public funds. Zhongji Innolight maintained its leading position, trailed by Ystech and Dongshan Precision. Kweichow Moutai, a renowned name, slipped to the 30th spot, resulting in only four traditional industry stocks remaining within the top 50 of public funds' most substantial holdings.
During the second quarter, the A-share market witnessed a robust performance, buoyed by a global surge in risk appetite. The technology sector, in particular, shone brightly.
