PSMC held a financial conference today (the 14th), where General Manager Chu Hsien-kuo stated that due to sustained strong demand for AI, the supply and demand in both the memory and mature process markets are tightening simultaneously. The company has again raised DRAM wafer input prices by approximately 40% to 45% in July, while foundry prices for 8-inch and 12-inch mature processes have also increased by about 10% to 15%. The benefits of these price hikes are expected to gradually be reflected in revenue and profits starting from November.
