The tech giant has already supplied prototype samples to industry leaders like Lenovo and HP for comprehensive testing, with ambitions to ramp up to mass production in the upcoming year. Leveraging a cutting-edge 4-nanometer process, this chip boasts a Neural Processing Unit (NPU), meticulously engineered to excel in generative AI tasks. Furthermore, it incorporates Processing-in-Memory (PIM) technology, strategically aimed at boosting AI inference efficiency while curbing power consumption.
