On July 10, Bloomberg reported that South Korean memory chip manufacturer SK Hynix raised $26.5 billion through the issuance of American Depositary Shares, setting a record for the largest initial stock offering by a foreign company in the United States. The company issued 177.9 million American Depositary Receipts at a price of $149 each, surpassing the scale of Alibaba's U.S. listing in 2014 and ranking as the third-largest IPO in global history. The funds will be used to expand production capacity to meet the demand for high-bandwidth memory chips for AI servers.
