Established in 2022, LogicBits has successfully navigated through six funding rounds, three of which occurred within this year alone. On July 9, the company proudly announced the acquisition of hundreds of millions of yuan in Series A funding. The core team, originating from the Superconducting Quantum Computing Laboratory at Zhejiang University, is dedicated to the research and development of pivotal products, notably superconducting quantum chips. Concurrently, LogicBits unveiled a superconducting quantum computing cloud platform on the same day, providing cloud services tailored to a wide array of industries. This platform adopts flexible pricing models, including pay-per-use and subscription plans, and has already forged strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Pharmaron. Prior to this, the company had already achieved revenue in the tens of millions of yuan through the sales of chips and quantum computers. Looking forward, LogicBits aims to strike a balance between its existing business operations and the ecosystem expansion of its cloud platform, with a vision to outperform classical computers across various domains by 2028. At present, the quantum computing sector is enjoying robust support from both capital investments and policy initiatives, with the industry's attention firmly fixed on the timeline for commercialization. Companies are actively exploring diverse technical and commercialization avenues. Although the superconducting route remains the predominant choice, it still grapples with formidable challenges, including the need for technological advancements and overcoming high user adoption barriers.
