On July 9, analysts from Bank of America noted that Comet Holding, a Swiss company producing components for memory chips, is expected to see rapid sales growth by the end of 2028, benefiting from the expansion of memory chip manufacturing capacity. As companies respond to artificial intelligence demand by building new memory chip factories, Comet stands to benefit from its significant production capacity. Bank of America has thus raised its profit, revenue, and profit margin forecasts for Comet through the end of 2028. In response, Comet's stock price led gains among the components of the STOXX Europe 600 index, rising nearly 12%.
