Huakang Medical has revealed that the consortium, featuring China Construction Third Engineering Bureau among other entities, has emerged victorious in the bidding process for Section 2 of the “Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) for the Jiufengshan Semiconductor Production Base Project.” The winning bid stands at an impressive RMB 1.956 billion. As a key consortium member, Huakang Medical is poised to secure an approximate share of RMB 180 million. This ambitious project, sprawling across a planned 214-acre site with a total construction footprint of 390,000 square meters, is earmarked for the research, development, and production of semiconductor epitaxial wafers and substrate wafers. As of the announcement date, the consortium is still awaiting the official “Letter of Acceptance,” and the subsequent contract signing remains subject to certain uncertainties.
