The soaring prices of memory chips have triggered a chain reaction. Recently, 14 consumers and three small businesses filed a lawsuit against Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron in the U.S. Federal Court for the Northern District of California, accusing these three companies of synchronously cutting traditional DRAM production capacity and reducing supply during periods of price increases, leading to a cumulative price increase of approximately 700% for traditional DRAM since 2022.
