On June 29, Reuters, citing three informed sources, reported that ChangXin Memory, just before its anticipated market debut, has inked a substantial long-term supply pact with Tencent Holdings. This agreement, valued at over 20 billion yuan (around $2.94 billion), entails the provision of server DRAM chips for a duration spanning 3 to 5 years. As it stands, ChangXin Memory holds the position of the world's fourth-largest DRAM supplier, and this strategic partnership is poised to smooth the path for its initial public offering (IPO).
