According to Taiwan's 'Commercial Times', TSMC's improved 2nm N2P process will be first applied to new products from Qualcomm and MediaTek this year, helping them gain a technological edge over Apple. However, Apple plans to adopt the N2P process for its A21 Pro chip next year to maintain competitiveness with flagship chips from the Android camp. However, this advanced process will only be used in the Pro version, with the standard A21 still utilizing the earlier 2nm N2 node.
