National Silicon Industry Group has declared its intention to collaborate with Guosheng Group, a significant shareholder owning over 5% of the company's stock, in a joint capital augmentation initiative for its subsidiary, Shanghai New Semiconductor. The total capital increase amounts to RMB 11.448 billion. Specifically, National Silicon Industry Group will leverage the equity of three of its subsidiaries, including New Semiconductor Crystal Investment, valued at RMB 7.448 billion, to subscribe to the newly issued registered capital of Shanghai New Semiconductor. Meanwhile, Guosheng Group will inject RMB 4 billion (with RMB 1 billion being a debt-to-equity conversion) for its subscription. Upon completion of the capital increase, National Silicon Industry Group's ownership stake will dilute from 100% to 84.48%, yet it will retain its controlling interest in the subsidiary.
