U.S. President Trump has announced that Apple is set to partner with Intel for the design and production of chips within the United States. This announcement triggered a notable 9% increase in Intel's pre-market stock price. Trump remarked that prior administrations had overlooked the domestic economy, resulting in a migration of semiconductor factories overseas. The new collaboration between Apple and Intel, he said, will significantly contribute to the United States' efforts to reconstruct its semiconductor industry supply chain. Furthermore, in addition to Apple, Nvidia and projects led by Musk are also slated to collaborate with Intel, collectively propelling advancements in chip manufacturing.
