On June 17, Sanan Optoelectronics revealed on an investor interaction platform that it has successfully attained mass production capabilities for 6-inch indium phosphide (InP) optical chips. The company now fully encompasses the entire production process, from epitaxial growth and chip fabrication to packaging and testing, showcasing a domestically advanced level of technology. Presently, Sanan Optoelectronics' overall production capacity for optical technology has surged to 2,750 wafers per month. Specifically, the capacity of the core epitaxial segment has been expanded to nearly 6,000 wafers monthly, with further production capacity enhancements planned. Its products have garnered certification from domestic powerhouses such as Huawei HiSilicon and InnoLight. Additionally, the company is actively broadening its international customer base, including notable names like NVIDIA and Google, positioning itself to secure a significant foothold in the realms of AI computing power and high-speed optical communications.
