During the midday break, the three primary A-share indices exhibited divergent performance patterns. The Shanghai Composite Index saw a marginal dip of 0.37%, whereas the Shenzhen Component Index edged up by 0.57%, and the ChiNext Index experienced a notable surge of 1.39%. Leading the charge among the sectors were semiconductors, biotechnology, and telecommunications equipment. Notably, Cambricon's stock price skyrocketed by over 13%, RemeGen's shares climbed more than 7%, and CIG (Cambridge Industries Group) witnessed an increase exceeding 4%. On the flip side, the insurance, precious metals, and banking sectors lagged behind. New China Life Insurance's stock plummeted by more than 5%, while Shandong Gold and Xiamen Bank both saw their share prices decline by over 4%.
