On June 16 (local time), Japanese semiconductor manufacturer Rapidus released a statement revealing that it had inked a memorandum of understanding with the Chips-IT Foundation, an entity backed by the Italian government. This strategic move aims to jointly propel advancements in future semiconductor manufacturing. Just a day prior, on the 15th, Rapidus had also unveiled a collaborative partnership with the UK Semiconductor Center (UKSC), further solidifying its commitment to driving innovation in semiconductor fabrication.
