On June 16 local time, Nokia announced that it would significantly expand its semiconductor advanced testing and packaging facility in Pennsylvania, USA, to drive the development of its artificial intelligence business. This expansion is part of Nokia's $4 billion R&D and manufacturing investment plan in the United States. After the expansion, the number of employees at the Pennsylvania facility is expected to increase to over 500, spanning various fields such as engineering, manufacturing, and R&D, and is projected to generate economic benefits exceeding $500 million over the next five years.
